Home Course · Two Live Sessions a Week

Understanding Fast
American English

A 10-week course built around one goal: catching what people actually say — at the dinner table, on the phone, and on the news — when they talk quickly and run their words together.
How this works
Most of the learning happens at home, at your own pace. Each week has two short Home Sessions you do on your own — watch a clip, decode how the fast speech works, record a two-minute voice note, and jot down anything you couldn't catch. Then you bring all of that to your two live hours with your teacher, where you practice the things you can't do alone: real-time listening, conversation, and current events.

Comprehension first Current events as fuel Real family & daily-life talk
The core problem we're solving: it isn't your vocabulary. Native speakers link words together and swallow the small ones — "what did you" becomes "wu-juh," "going to" becomes "gonna." This course trains your ear to hear the glue, so fast conversation stops sounding like one long blur.

Recordings & progress
★ Benchmark recordings
